Kicking off International Women’s Month, The Sidelines & Grata Wellness invite you to a panel discussion focused on the importance of wellness and mental health in women's sports.
The panel will include Janaya Reid, Co-founder & Chief Product Officer of The Zone, Carlin Hudson, Senior Director of Strategy of the National Women’s Soccer League, and Marianna Cuomo Maier, Founder of Grata Wellness & National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach, and will be moderated by Dana Alkhouri, Founder of the Sidelines.

Panelist Bios:
Co-founder & Chief Product Officer of The Zone, a mental wellness platform that helps athletes and organizations optimize performance and well-being through data driven insights, routines, and personalized support. They have worked with UNC Asheville Athletics, Sierra Canyon, Radford University Athletics and hundreds of other institutions across the nation bringing mental wellness to athletes.
Senior Director of Strategy of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL), overseeing the facilitation and execution of the NWSL’s strategic initiatives across the league and its member clubs in addition to the cataloging, analyzing, and sharing key lessons and resources that provide crucial insights and guidance surrounding the advancement of the league’s success, credibility, and strategic priorities. Hudson joined the NWSL in 2022 after serving as a senior associate consultant at Bain and Company and as a strategy extern for the United States Soccer Federation. Since joining the NWSL, she has driven the codification of the League’s first strategic plan, established systemic reform policies for the player-coach ecosystem, and helped the NWSL and the NWSL Player’s Association achieve a historic Collective Bargaining Agreement, establishing protections and salary increases for NWSL players while extending the CBA term through 2030.
Hudson began her career in sports as a player, having been drafted in the 2018 NWSL Draft by the North Carolina Courage after spending four seasons as a member of Yale University’s women’s soccer team. Following stints with the Courage and the Washington Spirit, Hudson finished her playing career in France. Hudson was named to the 2025 Forbes 30 Under 30 List, and Sports Business Journal’s 2023 New Voices Under 30 List.
Founder of Grata Wellness and a National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach, Marianna specializes in personalized coaching, corporate wellness programs, and transformative workshops. She helps individuals, teams, and organizations prevent burnout, build resilience, and create sustainable well-being through a holistic, evidence-based approach. Her work has been featured in wellness events, corporate programs, and community initiatives that make self-care and stress management practical and accessible.
Founder of The Sidelines, a female-founded sports and wellness newsletter that covers sports news, viral moments, and wellness trends while spotlighting changemakers throughout the industry with their 1x1 MVP Series interviews. Dana’s experience at ABC News and Goldman Sachs has allowed her to expand The Sidelines mission of being a channel for all female empowerment.
